Whether you use your UTV for off-roading adventures or as a workhorse, there’s a chance it’s not working at its full potential. With the right accessories and supplies, you can work and play harder, more efficiently, and more safely. We here at Tracy Motorsports want you to make the most of your UTV, so we’ve put together some of our favorite UTV accessories and supplies. If you have any questions, or you’d like to see the UTVs we have for sale, contact our store in Tracy, California, today!

Winches

One of the best accessories for your UTV is a winch. These simple upgrades can help your UTV do anything from clearing heavy objects like stumps or boulders, to pulling the UTV or another vehicle out of a sticky situation. They’re even great for hunters who need to pull their game to a better spot for dressing! Winches come in a variety of options, including wire and synthetic cables and power options. Make sure your winch’s power setup matches your UTV’s to avoid draining your battery during usage.

Enclosed Cab

Open-air seating like many UTVs have can be nice, but if you’re in a splashy environment or extreme temperatures, it can be more of a hassle than anything. An enclosed cab provides protection from the elements, not to mention bugs, airborne debris, and more. It also makes it possible to install climate control to keep you comfortable on your rides. If your UTV didn’t come with an enclosed cab, upgrade kits are out there and should be easy to install on your own.

LED Lighting

Safety is vitally important, especially when driving on difficult terrain. Being able to see what’s around you makes it much easier to stay safe, whether you’re on a trail, off-roading, or even on your property. LED headlights can provide much better forward visibility, and LED light bars can be installed to provide lighting on all sides. Just be mindful of your battery—more lighting means more drain to your battery.

Emergency Supplies

On the subject of safety, your UTV can handle just about anything, but your body is a bit more fragile. The unpredictable environments UTVs are best in can be uniquely dangerous to you, so make sure you have a toolkit for UTV breakdowns and a first aid kit for your own breakdowns!

We hope these tips help you get more from your UTV, and that you’re safer on every ride! If you want to know more, or you’re on the hunt for a new UTV, contact us at Tracy Motorsports. We proudly serve Stockton and Modesto, California—let us serve you today!
