A forged piston features a bridge-box design for maximized strength with minimal weight.

The YZ250F features a large-diameter 15-plate clutch to withstand the high demands of motocross racing.

Handlebar-mounted switchbox allows on-the-fly selection between two preloaded engine maps with the push of a button.

New for 2026, an industry-first ECU lock function helps prevent theft and unauthorized engine start-up.

An updated Launch Control System controlled through the Power Tuner App optimizes launches when the gate drops.

A three-level Traction Control System selectable within the Yamaha Power Tuner App maintains ideal rear wheel traction.

CHASSIS/SUSPENSION

An advanced aluminum bilateral beam frame is tuned to provide the perfect balance of stability and cornering performance.

Fully adjustable Speed Sensitive KYB® fork delivers exceptional balance between handling and bump absorption.

A linkage-type rear suspension with KYB® shock is tuned to provide less pitch and improved stability.

A large 270mm front and 240mm rear disc combine with Nissin calipers to provide exceptional stopping power and control.

The YZ250F's aggressive body design is slim, flat and eases rider movement for improved control.

Tapered aluminum handlebars are secured to four-position adjustable handlebar mounts.
